Medical Policies

A medical condition notification will ensure children at school can stay safe and healthy. All allergies and pre-existing conditions should be relayed to the school nurse.

A child who contracts a contagious disease or condition will be sent home from school and must remain home until the condition or the disease is corrected. A doctor's note may be required to accompany the child to the clinic with the proof of the treatment prior to readmission to school.

Please remember to keep children at home should they be running a fever. Students must be fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Motrin in order to return to school.

All medications, including over-the-counter medications, must be brought to the school's nurse by an adult and a consent form must be signed.
